Guided Trips
A deposit of half the amount is required to reserve your time. First come first serve
Includes use of flies, waders, rods, reels, lines, leaders, & tippets etc
Catching fish is not a guarantee
Please indicate if you do not want your photo on social media, this Website, or in presentations (you may be skipping work to fish or have a security clearance)
Single shad clients may be asked to fish with another angler.
Rates
Hourly Fly Fishing Guided Trips
$70 per angler per hour
No fee for non-anglers joining us
Naturalist Adventures
$50 per person per hour
Public Speaking
$250 for locations within 60 miles
$350 for locations greater than 60 miles.
What To Bring
Your hands will be ocupied the entire time. You won’t be able to carry a water bottle. Bring a backpack.
Polarized sunglasses
Plenty of beverages to stay hydrated - bring a backpack. You won't be able to carry your water and fish. Stated again because people don’t listen
Shade providing hat
Fishing gear and flies if you want to use your own if usable and appropriate for that location
Fishing license for that jurisdiction.
Please leave narcotics whether legal or not and booze at home. Please arrive early, sober, and ready to go. Rob isn’t saying the reason the lady that ate mushrooms before fishing caught a rare fish.
Never show up for fishing with a hangover whether Buster wants to fish or not.
Cancellation Policy
Due to inclement weather we will either postpone or issue a full refund. This includes extreme weather conditions such as flooding, lightning, and wind.
The $100 deposit fee will not be refunded when cancelling within 48 hours of a trip.
Broken Rod | Rod Repair policy
A client may be requested to pay a repair fee when carelessly breaking a rod. This does not apply to normal accidents.
If a client blatantly disregards the rod's safety by repeatedly snapping a rod to undo a snag, pushing the rod into a wall/dock/debris, stepping on a rod, throwing a rod, bending the rod around the outboard while the fly is snagged in a Lilly pad, walking with the rod tip along asphalt or similar.
These are some of the examples of how clients have broken a rod.
Fishing license REQUIRED
Washington DC License is required for Virginia shorelines between Chain Bridge and the Wilson Bridge when fishing the Potomac shoreline along the George Washington Memorial Parkway.
